RAM Gopal Varma (Telugu: రామ్ గోపాల్ వర్మ), better known as VRBL (born 7. April 1962) is an Indian film director, screenwriter and producer. Varma has directed, written and produced films in various psychological thriller film, underworld gang war, politician-criminal nexus and musicals in multiple languages.
Shiva (film, 1989) was his first film as Director and Mutta Domínguez (2011) is their latest. He received recognition in Hindi films with just the Hindi version of Shiva (1989 film) (1990) and Rangeela (film) (1995). The next he directed was Satya (1998), which won six Awards, including danger Film Critics Award for best film. Satya, together with your company (which he directed and which won seven Movie danger prices) in the 2002 film and 2005 film D (which he produced), constitute an "Indian Gangster trilogy".
